Bella's Story

Meet Bella
Bella is just about a year old, but she’s already lived a life no dog should have to. She was found surviving on the streets with 10 other dogs, two of them being her own puppies. She was still just a baby herself, trying to take care of her babies while also trying to stay alive.
Now that she’s safe, you can really see who Bella is meant to be. She’s a gentle, sweet girl who is learning what it means to feel secure and cared for. She’s currently living in a home with her brother and doing well, soaking up the comfort of being inside and away from the chaos she once knew.
Bella is just under 30 pounds and could stand to gain a little weight. We believe she’s a Lab/Terrier mix, on the smaller side, which makes her a great fit for many different homes.
She’s still figuring things out, so she’ll need a patient and loving home that can continue to build her confidence and show her the good life she’s been missing.
Bella has done her part. She survived, she protected her puppies, and she made it out. Now it’s her turn to be taken care of. She’s ready for her forever home.

Going through heartworm treatment and will be spayed upon completion.

St. Clair TNR & Rescue's Adoption Policy
Making a furry addition to your family is a very important decision. All potential forever families must submit a completed adoption application on our website at https://stclairtnrandrescue.vistaprintdigital.com/. Information on the application will be verified. To ensure that each animal is matched to a compatible forever home, we require a minimum of one meet & greet session. All family members who will live in the home with the animal should be present at the meet & greet. We will then conduct a home visit. If everyone is in agreement, then it's adoption day! St. Clair TNR & Rescue reserves the right to deny any applicant.
