All the animals that come to the rescue have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Most come with large vet bills, the only means that we have to pay our bills, food, treats, bedding, toys...supplies are by your financial donations! Or you can call and ask for Dianne @ 301-478-3300.<br/><br/>***Why is this beautiful girl here?<br/>Bella is a beautiful black Lab mixed with maybe an american Bully breed. She is approximately 1 1/2 years old, {DOB: Aug. 1, 2025+/-}. She has been spayed, vaccinate, worming & microchip. Bella was brought to The Ark of Hope Rescue after her mom was taken to the hospital and then was taken to a rehab facility when it is believed she will remain, unable to return home. The medical caretaker to Bella's mom told her that she would find a loving place that would take good care of her. She called us and asked if we would accept her. She was here within the hour. She has been around other dogs and children and gets along great! She plays with two other dogs here at The Ark; Pepper and Sophie, they play outside in the fenced yard together like they have known each other since birth. It would be fantastic if we could find a wonderful home with a fenced yard that would adopt Bella, giving her exactly what she deserves, a wonderful life filled with love and with people she can learn to trust and feel safe with again. She is a WONDERFUL, TOTALLY housebroken little girl! We believe if we could find her the perfect patient family/person/home she'd make a great addition to the right family. She needs a family to love her and a family that she will learn to trust and love in return! Sophie is an amazing pup that deserves a wonderful ending to an extremely sad and heart-breaking life so far.<br/>If you may be that person or that family, please follow the directions above in the second paragraph and let's make a meet and greet date!
