10/14/25. Our beautiful BELLA is doing amazingly well with her incredible foster. This 2-3 year old momma loves everyone she meets and likes all dogs, but because of her high prey drive, she may not do well with really tiny dogs and definitely no cats. She is super affectionate, playful, and can even entertain herself by playing fetch with herself. She likes to hide her treats in hard-to-find places for a later date, which keeps her foster mom laughing. Both of her foster families say if there was ever a dog to make them a foster failure, it would be BELLA. BELLA had some pending adopters, but unfortunately, when she went into heat unexpectedly, it pushed back her spay date and the adoptions fell through. She is hopefully getting spayed next week and then will be ready for her furever family. BELLA has a wonderful temperament, a loving personality, and is great with all children, not to mention she is gorgeous.<br/><br/>8/9/25. Meet BELLA! BELLA is the Momma of the pups we recently rescued. She is a 2-3 year old, dark fawn Dobie girl and has the sweetest, most gentle temperament. She likes ALL dogs and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is smart, eager to please, curious, and attentive. She is potty and crate trained. She knows commands: come, sit, paw, lay down, stay, leave it, drop it, place, and crate. She walks well on a leash and rides great in the car. She loves to play fetch—she brings the ball back and drops it! She’ll run full speed toward you and then lay down at your feet. She is also good at entertaining herself, nudging a ball and running after it or chewing on an antler. She loves water and being bathed and brushed. She just wants to play and be loved. She loves hugs and will fall asleep on your lap. She’s not shy or skittish. She’s not food/toy possessive or aggressive. She eats regular food... no allergies. She will chase after rabbits, so probably no cats for her. BELLA will be coming back from her incredible fosters in 2 weeks and will be looking for her furever home. This girl is a gem.
