Bell's Story

Bell is a 9-year old pocket size Siberian Husky who
will alternately melt you with her dazzling blue eyes
and in the next instant give you major attitude for
being slow with the treats. True to her sled dog
ancestry she loves regular walks and really enjoys
just being outside. In her enthusiasm to be lead dog
Bell does pull on the leash so we would recommend
not handing her off to small children or seniors.
However, when she is at home, she is more mellow
and will find the coolest place in the house or out in
the yard, just to hang out. Bell is intelligent and
curious so she will be quick to find any available
opportunities to escape and explore the great
outdoors. Like most seniors, Bell has a bit of
arthritis. She is currently 58 pounds but is well on
her way to losing a few pounds, which will help with
her mobility. She is on medication for urinary
incontinence that must be administered daily. Bell
gets along with dogs that are not too pushy, has not
been tested with cats, but has shown she loves
people attention and preferably children 12 years
and older.Fill out an adoption application directly on our website at www.lionelslegacy.org
