Becca's Story

Meet Becca!! This 2 year old, 28lb sweetie is ready to find her permanent family after being found as a stray in Houston.
She's easygoing, loves being out and about in the city and enjoys everyone she meets.

Her foster mom says:
"We mostly call her Pancake since she's a shortstack or Mamacita because she’s clearly had a couple of litters before she came into rescue.
She knows just how to just relax and settle in at home. She loves the dog parks and is still getting used to the sounds of the city.
She is curious and very interested in new people and dogs. She's very good - especially when people kneel to pet her. She's a little ham.
She'd so love to have a second dog in the home if someone had one!
I think she would thrive in a house with kids that love to pet her! Also a window perch where she can see the neighborhood
happenings.
I love how despite everything she has been through, she is still as sweet as can be. Within an hour of being home, she settled in and could not get enough attention. She is a shadow dog that wants to be wherever you are. She loves a good butt skritch!"

**Becca previously tested positive for Heartworm in TX and was treated before departure.**

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Becca, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
