He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply, works hard for his handler, and is ready to find the stable forever home he truly deserves.<br/><br/>Beaux’s story is one of resilience. He was pulled from a Missouri shelter where he was scheduled for euthanasia due to overcrowding — simply because there wasn’t space. When his previous owner could no longer keep him, a kind neighbor stepped in. Unfortunately, after a storm damaged fencing on the property, Beaux got loose and instinct took over in a chicken coop, and the family could no longer keep him. That’s when our rescue welcomed him and committed to giving him a real second chance.<br/><br/>Since coming into rescue, we’ve learned exactly who Beaux is — and who he will thrive with.<br/><br/>Beaux’s Strengths:<br/>• Kennel trained since very young — a perfect gentleman in his crate <br/>• Walks beautifully on leash and will heel when given clear direction <br/>• Has solid recall <br/>• Intelligent, eager to work, and responsive to commands <br/>• Athletic and affectionate with his people <br/>• Bonds deeply and is very loyal <br/><br/>Beaux does best with structure. He’s not chaotic energy — he’s managed, purposeful energy. With leadership and consistency, he shines.<br/><br/>He can become overstimulated in high-energy environments, so daily doggy daycare is not the right fit for him. Occasional daycare or structured play can work, but he thrives best with clear boundaries and routine.
