Beaux Corgi & Cattle Dog Mix Rochester, NY

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

Required: LOVE to play fetch and physically fenced in yard to do it in safely.

Beaux is a Corgi/Heeler mix, Born Feb 2020 and while short weighs in at 50 lbs. He is a high energy boy who loves to play fetch and tug. While he is in a home with other dogs and a cat the dogs are not a fan of his energy level. He wants to play, play, play with other dogs and does it by ramming his nose into the other dog and then darting away. He mostly ignores the cat in home. He is responsive to commands and also likes his cuddle time. He is unaware of his size and does enjoy cuddling on your lap.
Beaux is crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands, travels well and loves walks. He was surrendered to us as he was growling at the resident teenagers. We have not seen this side of him. He wants to be where we are and is very food motivated. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but once he does is very friendly. He will make a wonderful companion to a more active lifestyle, running, hiking, etc. His short legs does not slow him down at all.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
