Beau - GREAT DOG! Hound & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Avon Lake, OH

Big news - Beau has made lots of new doggie friends (new photo) at Roger's K9 and would do great with a dog playmate!

Our friends at Rogers’s K9 took Beau on a field trip and he had a blast! Check out the new photos :-) He is one great dog!! Beau's trainer is convinced his breed is Hound/Pit mix based on his Hound like behavior, his Hound "nose" for tracking and other Hound antics. DNA test is back, and Beau is 50% Hound mix! ;-). Beau finished his board and train program with Rogers K9.

Now Beau is ready for a HOME!! or temporary foster home while we search for his forever home. He is a great dog!!

Beau is about 2-year-old and 60 lbs. He came from the overcrowded Lorain County Kennel, thankfully Love-A-Stray was able to take him in, because he was very sick. He had pneumonia and required a 10 day stay at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic. Once he recovered, Beau was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Love-A-Stray will offer a free training session, to help Beau get acclimated into a new home. He is housebroken and walks well on lead. He loves all people he meets. He needs a cat-less home. He did great with his dog evaluation and socialization so he can have a dog friend. A home with older children would be best since he is big and can be BOUNCY! ;-).
