Beau may be that boy. He loves people, children and meeting new dogs. Kids are his absolute favorite. When we meet them on our walks, the world exists only for them. He can be tentative about meeting new adults, men more than women. But once he knows you, he is your best buddy/cuddle bug. Beau is extremely affectionate and just wants that physical contact. He thrives on being with his humans. Left alone for long periods of time will result in meeting the energizer bunny on speed when you return. He loves car rides and is a perfect passenger. He really needs to be part of an active family’s life.<br/><br/>We have reinforced canine manners and leash walking. While they are 100% better, consistency and reinforcement are key. He is a good student but being food motivated really helps. He will need someone committed to continuing his training.<br/><br/>As much as his foster family loves him, long term Beau needs a different environment. Beau is looking for an active family who will have the patience and time to make him the best family member. We are not accepting long distance or sight unseen adoptions. We feel it is important for all family members (human and canine) to meet before a decision is made. If you would like to be considered complete the adoption application.<br/><br/>Beau is an owner surrender to ABR. He comes from a family with 4 kids at home who could no longer care for him. Since coming into rescue he has been neutered, vaccinations updated, HW tested negative on preventative and micro chipped.
