My name is Bear, and I am a handsome 7-month-old, 35-lb German Shepherd mix pup with a thick, shiny coat, and I am lucky to be here. I was set to be euthanised at a Port Lavaca animal shelter in South Texas along with many other unfortunate dogs and puppies, when thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue decided to save us! Twenty-eight dogs' and puppies' lives were spared and sent to various foster homes in and around San Antonio. Now that we are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date on preventatives, and have veterinary records, we are ready to find forever homes!<br/><br/>My foster mom says I am a sweet, playful baby who likes to flop over for a tummy rub and chest scratches. I'm friendly and smart, playful with other dogs, good with cats, and great with grownups and kids. I'm a good boy, rarely bark, and I'm housebroken. When I first moved into my foster home, I was given some chew toys, a ball, and an antler to play with, but I haven't shown much interest. Instead, I'm having fun chasing an empty plastic milk jug around, LOL! To sum up... I'm happy, sweet, affectionate, playful, love to be petted and snuggled, and I'm adorable!
