Meet Bear!

$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima Co is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups!

Bear was a little scared when we first met, but took about 2 seconds to make friends with me. He just needs the ok from people he trusts before new people touch him. You know when you are in his circle of trust when he starts kissing you. He was very excited when it was his turn to be in the house and was a super cuddler all night. He definitely loves his people! He is about 1-2 yrs of age and weighs about 65 lbs.

He is excited to be on a leash, but needs more training. I'm sure he would be a great hiking dog. He definitely likes to play and wrestle with other dogs. Bear does fine with my alpha female, but I think he would prefer to be the alpha male if his fur siblings are male.

This dog is located in Selah, WA. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
