My brothers and I live in a different state (Connecticut), so we are looking to get Bear into a nice home. My father is heart broken to have to part with his dog, but knows he cat care for him for a long time. We hope to find him a super STABLE and LOVING home! With lots of walks ! <br/><br/>Personality:  Bear is such a calm and loving dog. He absolutely loves walks and my father would take him 3x a day for about a mile. <br/>He is very easy on leash and does NOT pull and walks very slow. <br/>He will put his head on your lap if you are sitting and will nudge your hand so you pet him. He just is such a sweet boy. <br/>He loves rides in my dad’s truck and will jump right in when you open the door.<br/>We just want to find him a stable and loving home where he can be loved and get plenty of walks.<br/><br/>House Trained and/or crate trained?  Bear is house trained<br/>Any bad habits or things that need to be worked on with him/her?  A little food aggressive according to my father. He will growl if you get close to his bowl but has never snapped or bitten him. <br/><br/>Dog good with kids, cats, or other dogs?  Once he  warms up to you, took about 2 hours for me when I saw him for the first time,  he was fine. Lived with another dog in the house. Unsure about cats but I’m sure he would be fine with them considering his overall demeanor. <br/><br/>Animals vetting history (neutered/spayed, vaccinations, microchipped)?: Neutered amd vaccinated. We have vet records. Received a full check-up before my father adopted him.<br/><br/>Any Supplies that go with pet (food, leash, collar, bedding, toys):  Bear comes with any remaining food, leash, bedding and treats. <br/><br/>IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT:<br/>1) Please show up with a leash and collar (if one is not provided)<br/>2) Adoption fee of $45 to ensure a good home<br/>3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well<br/>4) Please show up with your Drivers License.<br/>5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine)<br/><br/>Call/text me if interested in this pet:  203-767-1864
