Meet Bear (aka Havoc)

Bear/Havoc is an approximately 2 year old neutered male Mixed Breed – reportedly a Malinois/German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever, per a DNA test done prior, but we weren’t given the test results to confirm. It’s a believable guess given his traits, though! He is a tall, beautiful boy with the softest coat! Havoc can be a big scaredy cat around strangers. While his overall confidence has improved a lot with training, he’s going to need ongoing work and management in this area. With the people he knows and trusts, he’s a big, lovable goofball, and we’ve been able to continually add more people to this camp as we’ve worked together.

Bear/Havoc is crate trained, house trained, rides well in the car, and knows basic obedience. He walks beautifully on the leash, often choosing to heel with his person, whether asked to or not. He has excellent obedience and gives great engagement, and is muzzle conditioned. He learns quickly, has developed a love of training, and has a very people-pleasing personality. Havoc enjoys playing with toys and romping with other dogs, but has more of an off-switch than you’d expect from a dog of his mix. He’s quite content to kick it with you after a run or some ball. Havoc has had no experience with children and will require an adult only home. Once you get to know him you can't help but adore him....there's a lot to love!!!

He is doing really well with dogs his size, even around resources and a multidog home with confident dogs and structure would be his best bet. He's going to need someone who's patient about the assimilation process, but it's getting easier and easier, and I think he’s at a point that he could continue progressing in a home environment. He shares affection and couch space without an issue here now. He's still "floppy" at all times, kinda like dog meets blob." LOL

He will need decompression time and the opportunity to get comfortable to show his true wonderful self. If interested please submit an application: >>> HERE >>> http://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application
