Bear's Story

BEAR NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH FEARFUL DOGS. This little guy is about 8 years old and 13 pounds. We think he might be a mix of terrier and shih tzu. He has an incredible vertical leap! Bear is already neutered, up to date on vaccines, good with other dogs (and possibly cats) and seems to be fully housebroken. He is also insanely cute! His only problem is a huge fear of people! We don't know what his previous life was like, as he came into the shelter as a stray. He is horribly hand shy and very protective. He needs a human with EXPERIENCE and PATIENCE. Obviously, no homes with children or seniors. If you think you can help Bear, please put in a foster or adopter application at www.chesed-rescue.org.
