Bear Newfoundland Dog Bancroft, ON

Bear, Male, Newfie, 2 years old, 95 Lbs.
Bear already weighs 95 lbs. but at 2 years old he will most probably
have some more "filling out" to do.
He is a healthy boy who loves people but has never been around children.
Given his energy level we feel that he would be too much for young
children but dog-savvy teenagers might love him and help give him the
company and training that he needs.
Bear shares his home with a large female dog with whom he grew up. He
can be more aggressive toward male dogs
Bear barks at other people on his property but is not aggressive.
His owner describes this as a " Come here and pet me bark"!
He has had no interaction with cats and may not be reliable with
chickens or similar birds.
This big dog is full of energy and loves attention. He wants to be
everyone's friend.
Bear needs a home with people who know,love, and have worked with
Newfoundland dogs.
A person or family who can give him the exercise and the training that
he still needs will have a beautiful canine companion
The adoption fee for Bear is $600. He has been neutered and his
vaccinations are up to date.
