Bear Black Labrador Retriever Mix Mission, KS

Bear is a big, lazy puppy who loves his walks, playing with other dogs, snuggling, and sun bathing outside. Once he warms up to someone, he loves to cuddle up while he takes one of his many naps throughout the day.

Bear had a rough past, so he's still learning how to dog. He loves other dogs and mimicked them in his previous home. They were his best friends and safety blankets. Bear will need to be in a home with a canine companion.

He will also need a quiet home, without a lot of commotion or visitors. Loud noises and lots of movement frighten him. He's slow to warm up to strangers and needs a home with people who will give him time and space and proper introductions.

Bear's owners are rehoming him because they have a new baby, which means lots of noise (oh, the crying!) and so much commotion and so many visitors. This is all very stressful for Bear.

Bear is an extremely sweet dog who just needs a little emotional support and patience. He's a smart guy and would benefit from continued training.
