Having been adopted ten years ago, Katie now faces a challenging transition and is in urgent need of a foster home to help her through this difficult time.<br/><br/>A Decade of Love and Care<br/>For the past decade, Katie received devoted care and affection from her owner. Photos illustrate the loving environment she enjoyed throughout her life.<br/><br/>Recent Changes and Heartbreak<br/>About three months ago, following her owner’s passing, Katie’s owner’s family decided to move her into the backyard. Their intent was to prepare the property for sale, and they chose not to keep her indoors. Since then, Katie has spent her days outside, waiting for the return of her owner and wondering why she can’t come inside.<br/><br/>Katie’s Personality and Preferences<br/>Katie enjoys spending time lounging around the house, finding comfort in cozy indoor spaces. She also has a fondness for playing with balls, which brings her joy and helps her stay active.<br/>Although Katie has not shared her home with other animals, she has demonstrated a calm and pleasant demeanor around dogs during adoption events. She shows no signs of discomfort or issues in these situations, suggesting she adapts well to being around other dogs in public settings. <br/><br/>A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. <br/><br/>If you are interested in Beans aka Katie, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.<br/><br/>This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. <br/><br/>This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
