Meet Baxter – your new best friend! 🐾❤️<br/><br/>Baxter is a loving, energetic 2-year-old Rottweiler/Pit mix with a big heart and so much love to give. He came to us thanks to our friends at Highway 50 Freedom Ride, arriving just in time—and we’re so grateful, because this boy is truly something special.<br/><br/>Baxter is currently working with our trainer Dora, and he is so smart—he loves to learn and is really showing off that big brain of his! <br/>He absolutely loves other dogs and does a wonderful job respecting their boundaries. In fact, Baxter is one of our go-to dogs for dog testing because of his friendly, appropriate play style. He also enjoys pack walks with his buddies (especially Major!) and walks beautifully on leash.<br/><br/>Baxter can be a little fearful of men at first, but with a little time and patience, he warms up—and some of his best friends here are our male volunteers.
