Baxter aka Bob's Story

Baxter is a 2 - 3 year old, 67 lb, sweetheart. This beautiful boy loves people and wants to be in their laps at all times. If we had to make a guess on breed, we would say American Bulldog/Boxer mix. He gets along well with other dogs his size and smaller, but can be reactive to dogs that are larger than him. He should also be fed separately from other dogs and would be best in a home without cats. <br/><br/>He would make a great running or hiking partner. He has enjoyed going for walks and outings with volunteers and has no stranger danger. He is crate-trained and potty-trained. Baxter is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, dewormed, on flea prevention, and microchipped.

Speedway Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for heartworm. To adopt a dog from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check. We do not have a shelter. All of our dogs are in foster homes. Please call us to make an appointment to meet one of our adoptable dogs.
