Basilisk!?This fun-loving pup is all about fetch—once he trusts you as his official fetch partner, he’ll proudly drop the ball at your feet, ready for the next round. Basilisk is also a water lover who enjoys splashing in the pool and even brings his favorite stuffies along for a swim.<br/>On walks, Basilisk is strong on leash, but he does better with his easy-walk harness and settles in nicely on longer strolls. He even has the most adorable whimper when he’s excited—it’ll melt your heart!<br/>Basilisk is looking for an active family who will enjoy his playful, silly side and give him the love and exercise he craves.<br/><br/>~~~~~<br/><br/>The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.<br/><br/>In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.<br/><br/>Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on "Foster Questionnaire."<br/><br/>Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.<br/><br/>We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
