Meet Basil!

Hi, my name is Basil and I am a collie mix. I am a little over four months old and weigh 24 pounds. We aren't quite sure how big I'll be. My litter was found under an abandoned house down south and then I was moved to a foster home up here in Wisconsin!
I'm very sweet and gentle with everyone I meet. I'm a little on the shy side still and my foster mom finds me hiding in laundry baskets all the time. I love to look out of the window to see what's going on outside and I'm getting a little bolder each time I get to explore the outdoors. I am catching on to tricks quickly and love getting treats.
I am crate trained already but I'm still a puppy so manner and potty training are a work in progress. I would really love a family of my own to help encourage me to come out of my shell!
Basil is available through Ma, Paws and Me Pet Rescue inc. based out of Watertown, WI and currently in a foster home. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is 425. Please apply online Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue, Inc.

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
