She isn’t the kind of dog who will thrive with frequent outings to dog parks, stores, or crowded events. If you are looking for a dog to take everywhere, Basil is not a match. <br/><br/>She gets braver each day. She now loves going on walks and does great with a confident dog buddy by her side. <br/><br/>Basil is a goofy, loving girl. She absolutely adores her humans. She follows them from room to room to ensure she's not passing up a chance to get pets or snacks. If you dare to stop petting her, expect a paw or a head nudge asking for more. Her favorite place is right by your side, preferably on the couch with her head on your lap.<br/><br/>In her foster home, she happily greets visitors with tail wags and immediately requests pets. In new environments, however, she can be reserved and unsure.<br/><br/>She’s making up for lost time and soaking up every bit of joy and love she can find. She is an absolute delight to be around and will make a great companion.<br/><br/>Basil is crate trained and dog friendly.
