Barry

Barry is a 2 year old Tiny Toy Aussie mix (with what we are not quite sure) at 7-8 pounds. He does have a natural tail. Barry initially came from a breeder and didn’t get to learn the in’s and out’s of living in a home. Barry will need a very patient, calm new home that will understand he’s going to take some time to learn to trust and adjust to living in a new home. Barry has done well with other dogs closer to his size but can be overwhelmed with larger dogs. He could probably be an only dog but could benefit from a confident doggy friend in his new home to help teach him the ropes. He will bark at cats, but we think given time he could do well with a dog savvy cat. Barry is crate trained and does well on house training with frequent potty breaks and controlled space initially. He can be an escape artist so he will need a home with a well fenced wooden or solid yard (no gaps). He can scale puppy pens so we think he could do the same with chain link. Because he’s agile and can hide under small things he will need a home that his new family members are agile enough to keep track of him and rescue him from underneath things if he hides. Barry still needs to work on his leash skills. <br/>Barry is really a very sweet boy once he’s comfortable, but he needs a home willing to give him the time he needs to adjust.
