1/17/26 Meet Barron, a 5-year-old boy who ended up at a shelter in Melbourne after he got hit by a car. His owner couldn’t afford treatment, but thankfully, the X-rays showed no fractures—just some scrapes and bruises. He’s on antibiotics now, and his wounds are healing well. Barron's such a sweet and adorable dog! We're currently assessing how he interacts with other dogs to get a better sense of his personality. Since he came from a shelter, we’re not sure how he feels about cats yet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs.
