BARNES's Story

Barnes Has Entered the Chat
If you've ever wanted a dog who will actually carry on a conversation with you, Barnes is your guy! This handsome 5-year-old Husky has plenty to say and isn't shy about sharing his thoughts. Whether he's greeting you, asking for attention, or simply giving his opinion on the day, his talkative personality is sure to keep you smiling.

Barnes is as charming as he is handsome, with one adorably floppy ear, striking blue eyes, and a happy face that lights up every room. He's the kind of dog who makes people stop and say, Aww!

One of Barnes' favorite things? Treats! In fact, he'll happily offer his version of a sit, which is really more of an enthusiastic down. Barnes also enjoys toys and a game of fetch, but he's just as content going for a leisurely stroll. He's an easy walker, making him a wonderful companion for neighborhood walks or outdoor adventures. After some fun, he's happy to soak up affection and will gladly lean in close for pets, enjoying every bit of attention you give him.

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate Husky with a big personality, a floppy ear, and endless stories to tell, Barnes is ready to become your new best friend. Come meet him and you'll fall in love with that smile in no time!

Barnes has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
