Oh, Barnaby. This little guy is roughly four to five months old, and hes already been through more than most dogs experience in a lifetime. He was picked up as a stray and landed in a high-kill shelter, which is a terrifying place for any dog, let alone a puppy. To make matters worse, he has some pretty severe scarring along his back that looks like it came from a chemical burn or someone pouring hot liquid on him. It is heartbreaking to think about what he went through, but Barnaby doesnt let it slow him down for a second. He is just incredibly resilient.<br/><br/>Right now, he's a scruffy little package weighing about twelve pounds, and he'll likely stay on the smaller side, probably topping out under twenty pounds. Despite whatever person or circumstance hurt him in the past, he hasn't lost his spirit or his willingness to trust. He is just looking for a soft place to land and a family who will spoil him.
