Bard came to us from a shelter partner where he had been turned over due to his human losing their home.

Bard lived with other dogs and cats in his previous home. He was said to be good, but play rough with the cats, so anyone interested must be prepared to work on that. He has not lived with children.

Bard is gregarious and friendly with people, as far as we can see, he has never met a stranger. Bard does need work on manners and leash walking, he is a classic young guy who hasn't received much training. Bard is nicely crate trained, and is a great passenger while crated in the car. The day we picked him up we were in the van for 7 hours and he was good as gold!

Dogs that have not lived previously with children will not be offered to homes where young children reside. We do not 'test' dogs with children or cats, since testing may not show an accurate picture, and may give false comfort to their new home. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above.
