Bane Labrador Retriever Mix Evansville, IN

Bane came to us from a high-intake partner shelter. He had obviously been very neglected, had significant loss and was in danger of euthanasia. ITV answered the call for help and quickly discovered what an absolute sweetie Bane is! He was moved to a foster home and his foster mom raves about how great he is!! Here is what his foster mom says about Bane:

Ten Things About Bane
1. He is a very good boy!
2. He is house trained and has not had a single accident in the house. He uses the doggy door to go outside when he needs to go.
3. He LOVES people and lots of attention and snuggles. He follows me from room to room like a shadow.
4. He gets along with other dogs. He tries to initiate play, but doesn’t actually like the rowdiness.
5. He does NOT get along with cats. He encountered a stray cat in the yard and the poor kitty had to be rescued from him.
6. He loves walks and is good on a leash. He also likes car rides, belly rubs, and treats.
7. He doesn’t really enjoy toys. He would prefer a belly rub.
8. He is quiet. He doesn’t bark, but when he gets excited he has a hilarious sort of yodel.
9. His fluffy tail curls up over his back. He is a beautiful chocolate color.
10. His fur has not completely regrown, but it is starting to come in.

Oh, did I mention that he is a very good boy?!

I think he will fit well with almost any family (maybe not a real busy or active one.), but probably the best home for him would be where he has his person to give him lots of individual attention and belly rubs.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about him. The person/family that adopts him will be very lucky. He deserves the best home!
