Bane's Story
**Fostered in Pensacola, Florida**

Meet Bane

Bane is a 4.5-year-old black Great Dane who is, quite simply, a lover. His favorite place in the world is right next to you—close enough for constant pets. He’ll happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company and make sure you’re never alone.

Bane is fully house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He’s been accident-free in the house and does very well with a routine. When left alone, he can be anxious and may bark for about 15–20 minutes before settling down. Early on, he expressed his displeasure by taking out a couch cushion, but he’s been non-destructive since—he just really loves his people and doesn’t love goodbyes.

He enjoys going on walks and does fairly well on leash, though if he catches a scent he really likes, it can take some strength to redirect him—he’s a big, strong boy. Bane loves playing with other dogs and does well meeting new people. His experience with cats is unknown.

And fair warning: Bane is an elite-level drooler. He only manages to get about 40% of the water he drinks into his mouth—the rest ends up on the floor, your clothes, or the furniture. Dane lovers will understand ❤

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate shadow who will adore you endlessly (and doesn’t mind sharing a little slobber), Bane could be your perfect match.

Bane is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350. To read over the adoption requirements before applying to adopt Bane, please visit www.nwflgdr.com/adopt.

Please note: NWFLGDR does not transport. All approved adopters are required to meet and pick up the dog in person from his or her foster parent’s home.
