Bandit in MO's Story
The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home

My name is Bandit. I am 9 months old and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because I was released by my owner. I am being fostered in St. Charles, MO.

Bandit is my name and stealing hearts is what I do. My foster mom immediately fell in love with my ears. One stands up and one stands down.

When I first arrived I already knew how to use a doggie door but not so much a leash. I am still working on learning how to walk on a leash because I'd rather do what I want when on it. If you dont have a doggie door, I probably need to be potty trained.

I live with 3 kids, the youngest being 5. I let them hug on me anytime they want. Its a good trade off because they pet me. I also like to wake them up in the morning by sniffing and kissing them. My foster mom says I sniff more than other fosters she has had.

There are lots of toys here and I have been very good about not chewing on them but I am interested in them. I get to roam the house freely when no one is home because I have built up trust with my foster parents.

I think all food and treats are mine so I am unhappy when I have to share with my foster sister. I am learning that sharing is caring. I'll have this down soon. In the meantime, we are spread out to eat and get treats and we do great. Any other time I like my foster sister and lay in bed with her at night. I do get startled when I hear movement while I'm sleeping. I will growl and bark but I am harmless. I do this mostly at night.

Please think about adopting me into your home.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? Uses a doggie door
Leash-trained? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.

If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application

Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
