Bandit's Story
12-year-old Bandit has experienced a lot of change recently. After the passing of his beloved dad, Bandit came into our care through the Safety Net Program when his family needed help. His owner's son, who was serving overseas in the military, had hoped to return home and care for him, but unfortunately, those plans changed.

Bandit has spent the past several months in a loving foster home, but what he truly deserves is a forever family to cherish him through his golden years. Could that be you?

Here's what we've learned about him:
Bandit is the cutest little guy with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He is happiest simply being near his people-whether that's lounging on the sofa, snuggling in bed, or soaking up the sunshine in the yard. He is very much a "Velcro dog" who loves companionship and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close.

His foster mom describes him as a total character and love bug. He enjoys exploring the yard, especially stopping to smell the flowers, and loves relaxing outside while taking in the sights and sounds around him. He recently went for a nail trim and was an absolute gentleman throughout the entire visit.

Bandit has made wonderful progress with his separation anxiety. When he first arrived, he would cry whenever his foster mom left the house. Now, he settles down comfortably and patiently waits for her return. He is not destructive and does well free-roaming when left alone. When necessary, he uses pee pads placed near the door when his foster mom is away.

This sweet boy prefers the comforts of home over adventures. He does not enjoy walking on a leash or harness and would do best in a home with a secure yard where he can safely wander and explore at his own pace. He also enjoys stroller rides for outings. Because of his age, a home with minimal stairs would be ideal.

Bandit sleeps soundly through the night, loves cuddling on the bed, and appreciates little comforts like ramps to help him get onto furniture. He eats soft food, patiently waits for meals, and has no food aggression. Bandit gets along well with both dogs and cats and loves having the companionship of other dogs.

Bandit has already lost so much, but he hasn't lost his ability to love. What he needs now is a family willing to open their heart to a sweet senior dog who asks for very little-just a cozy place to nap, a yard to sniff around in, and someone to love.

If you have room in your heart for a senior pup who just wants to be loved, Bandit is waiting to meet you!

Please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet this very special boy.
