Hi there! I’m Bandit, an 8-year-old Chi-weenie looking for a new partner-in-crime to help me start my next chapter. I've been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I'm up to date on my heartworm testing.<br/><br/>My past? Glad you asked. I spent many wonderful years with my previous owner, but since they passed away, I’ve been waiting for a cozy couch to call my own again.<br/><br/>My personality? I’ve got the classic low-rider body of a Dachshund and the big, "spicy" personality of a Chihuahua; while I’m a world-class snuggler who loves burrowing under blankets, I definitely have some opinions and will give you a little side-eye if you disturb my nap.<br/><br/>I’m well past the stage of chewing up shoes and prefer a mellow life of sunbeams and short walks, but because I can be a bit sassy when I'm nervous, or when you don't pick me up correctly. I’d do best in a quiet, adult-only home where my boundaries are respected. I do enjoy time outside and enjoy walks. I need someone patient that understands I really miss my human I had for so long and I spend time looking at the door wondering if they are coming back. I'm sure with some time I'd learn to love you and understand you are my new home. <br/><br/>I may be small, but I have the heart of a lion and a whole lot of loyalty to give to the right person.
