I am 3 years old and weigh 14 pounds. I need a new home because I am a breeder release. I am being fostered in Syracuse, Nebraska.<br/><br/> I love to snuggle on the couch next to you or sleep in bed with you. I am also comfortable in the kennel. I use the kennel as my safe space when feeling scared.<br/><br/>I am a sweetheart but not a huge fan of my foster brother getting into my space when I'm on the couch or if he tries to play with me. I'm still learning how to play.<br/><br/>I get along with my foster humans and strangers. I love all the attention I am getting.<br/><br/>I would rather not be outside. I love it inside and, on the couch, or chair.<br/><br/>I would prefer a home with a fence as I am not confident on the leash yet and it takes me a while to feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom. My foster brother is helping me learn to like walks and develop my confidence.<br/><br/> Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? Yes<br/>Leash-trained? Working on it<br/>Rides well in car? Yes<br/>Good with other dogs? Yes but very timid. Might be better in a home with an older dog that isn't interested in much play. <br/>Good with cats? Not yet tested<br/>Good with young children? Yes<br/>Good with strangers? Yes <br/>Shy or confident? Shy <br/>Barks? No<br/>Apartment qualified? Yes<br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? I had some teeth removed, so will need food watered down until I get used to eating dry food. I'm working on putting on a few pounds but I do love to eat. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
