Meet sweet Bambi! This beautiful 2-year-old Chihuahua/Xolo mix is about 28–30 pounds and fully grown. Bambi is one of those special dogs who has never met a stranger. She is friendly with dogs, cats, children, and even goats!<br/><br/>Bambi was rescued from a California shelter while pregnant. She has lovingly raised her puppies and is now ready to find a family of her own. She is incredibly patient, gentle, and loving. She is potty trained, uses a doggy door, has amazing recall, and absolutely loves to cuddle. Ask her for a belly rub and she’ll happily roll right over!<br/><br/>Bambi would love nothing more than a person or family to call her own. This allows us to make the best possible match between each dog and their future family.<br/><br/>Our goal isn't simply to place dogsit's to create lifelong, successful adoptions.<br/><br/>Our Adoption Process<br/><br/>To help ensure every dog finds the right home, we ask all potential adopters to:<br/><br/>Complete an adoption application.<br/>Participate in a phone interview.<br/>Provide veterinary and personal references.<br/>Meet the dog before adoption whenever possible.<br/>Adoption Requirements<br/><br/>To provide our dogs with safe, permanent homes, adopters must:<br/><br/>Provide a safe, stable, indoor home.<br/>Have the time, financial ability, and commitment to provide lifelong care.<br/>Some dogs may have additional requirements based on their unique needs, such as a securely fenced yard, another canine companion, or a home without young children.
