Bam Bam's Story

Bam Bam is a 5-month-old female American Bully—often referred to as a pocket bully—and truly one lucky little squishy potato. This sweet girl was surrendered to the rescue through no fault of her own and is now safe, loved, and enjoying life with her rescue friends. While her past could have taken a very different path, Bam Bam is now exactly where she belongs and is ready to find a forever home that will cherish her.

Bam Bam is not your typical high-energy puppy. She prefers a relaxed lifestyle filled with short walks, cozy naps, and lots of companionship. Whether it’s watching TV in bed, lounging on the couch, or sitting on the front porch taking in nature, Bam Bam is happiest right by your side. She currently weighs about 27 pounds and may gain a few more as she finishes growing.

Because of her breed, we are seeking an adopter with prior experience owning or working with pocket bullies or similar bully breeds. These dogs have unique needs related to structure, health awareness, temperature sensitivity, and weight management. Bam Bam requires mindful care, including short walks only in appropriate temperatures, as she does not tolerate hot weather well. Maintaining a healthy diet is important to prevent excess weight, and routine care such as cleaning her nose and ears and keeping her nails trimmed will help her stay comfortable and healthy.

Bam Bam is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is dog- and cat-friendly, loves kids, and has a gentle, affectionate nature. She’s a champion napper and will happily snooze the day away, often accompanied by the cutest snorts, oinky sounds, and adorable snores. One of her most endearing traits is her little tongue that loves to peek out—just another reason it’s impossible not to fall in love with her.

If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who values comfort, closeness, and calm days together, Bam Bam may be the perfect addition to your family.

For more information or questions about Bam Bam, please email arcwithlove@gmail.com or complete an application at arcwithlove.com under the Adoption tab (be sure to select the correct application for dogs).
