Meet Baloo!<br/><br/>This sweet boy was saved from the Euthanasia list from a high kill shelter just in the nic of time! His foster mom says nothing but wonderful things about him. He loves to be by your side, and will wait patiently for some pets. Baloo has done great with kids, dogs and cats! He would make a wonderful companion to any household. One of his favorite things is getting a pupcup at Starbucks! Baloo is low heart worm positive but 100% treatable. We can talk about that with approved applicants. This boy may have had a rough start in the beginning but we are determined to make sure he has a happy ending! If you are interested in Baloo, please fill out an application. Approved applicants will get the chance to facetime with the foster to meet Baloo! <br/><br/>Baloo is currently located in Houston TX but can transport to additional states for a $300 transport fee.

Houston Animals Project's Adoption Policy

Our goal is to place every dog in a safe, loving, and lifelong home. Because of this, all adopters must complete an application and go through an approval process before adoption is finalized. Adoption requirements include: Valid government issued ID required, all current pets must be up-to-date on vaccines and on heart worm prevention, if renting your landlord must approve before we move forward with the adoption process, all household family members must be in agreement on the adoption. We ask for potential adopters to provide a personal and vet reference, a video of their backyard/area where the dog will be living, and do a meet and greet with any dogs that are currently in the home if they are local. We have a strict return policy, if at any point the adopter can no longer keep the dog, the dog must returned to Houston Animals Project and may not be re homed, sold, or surrendered to another person, rescue, or shelter without approval.
