Baklava is a curious, playful girl who is always ready for her next little adventure. She loves meeting new people and has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes her great with kids and other dogs alike. Whether she's playing tug-of-war or exploring the yard, Baklava approaches everything with enthusiasm and a happy spirit.<br/><br/>She does very well in her crate, both when home alone and overnight, and settles in nicely. She's still working on potty training in the house, but she's already showing great instincts by keeping her crate clean. With a little consistency, she'll continue to make great progress.<br/><br/>Baklava would do well in a home that can keep up with her playful energy and give her opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
