Bailey

Bailey is a handsome neutered male Australian Shepherd mix.<br/>His mom came into our program pregnant, she was an Australian Shepherd. Bailey was adopted but returned as he is just too much when human babies are added to the home. He is wary of the movements of the very young children. Bailey would do best in a adult home or a home with children about 12 years of age or older.<br/> Bailey has some amazing qualities: while he tends to be slow to new situations and sometimes new people, once acquainted he is good and remembers them, he can be left alone in the house for a work day with no problems. He has better house manners than a lot of people we know! He loves to cuddle on the couch with us and watch T.V. He is getting better with my little brother who is in the 7 year old range and quite active.<br/>Bailey needs a home with someone patient. He takes some time to warm up to new people, but then he's fine.<br/><br/>He loves to cuddle and will follow his owner everywhere. He listens well and is housebroken and completely trustworthy in the house. Bailey also gets along well with other dogs. And he loves to play!<br/><br/>Bailey LOVES water! Water in the pool, water from the hose, the sprinkler, any and all water. He is quite hilarious. Great summer fun on the back patio with a small swimming pool.<br/><br/>Bailey has been well vetted since a puppy as he was well cared for by the family who adopted him.
