Bailey American Bulldog & Boxer Mix Houston, TX

Bailey is about 2.5 yrs old, just over 50 lbs, and oh my goodness what a sweetheart!! This sweet, affectionate girl would be good with almost any family, she is super loving and aims to learn and respect other dogs boundaries in the home. She looks like a mix of American Bulldog and Boxer and her Boxer DNA comes out when she paws at you for attention or drools if you have a yummy treat. Her foster parents have a salt water pool which Bailey hasn't gone in yet but has stolen a drink. She loves mealtime and gets excited for treats like carrot sticks and nut butters on a spoon. She loves to put her paws on your chest and gives kisses and she flips over so you can rub that belly forever.

Her foster family has been describing her as a really good listener who likes to try and play with everyone. She likes to walk across the back of the couch like a cat, ask for belly scratches and snooze there after an exhausting day of window watching - her absolute favorite thing to do, only second to investigating outside and enjoying the sunshine. And she likes to watch TV - especially Breaking Bad :)

So far she is calm in the car and strong on the leash. Like most dogs, some basic leash training will benefit her. She seems to like her kennel and feels safe in there, like it's her own bedroom.
