At just about 1 year old, Axle is a fabulous blend of young-dog energy with a gentle, old-soul spirit. He is a tuxedo wearing Pointer/Hound mix working hard every day to build his confidence. He is surely one of the most polite & handsomest guys in town. <br/><br/>Perfect Manners: Axle is a star pupil. He knows a handful of commands and is a master at giving paw. The best thing? He takes treats ever so gently. He's a polite gentleman through and through. <br/><br/>Friend to All: Axle absolutely loves other dogs and is perfectly fine with cats. He'd be a seamless addition to a house full of furry friends. Axle loves to romp and wrestle but respectful of boundaries.<br/><br/>The Great Outdoors: A fenced-in yard is Axle's happy place. It gives him the security he needs to relax, play, and explore at his own pace. <br/><br/>Social Adventures: Axle rides well in the car and also walks well on leash! He enjoys seeing new things and pushes his way past his hesitancy with the right human leader.<br/><br/>Axle is shy when meeting new people, but his progress is inspiring.
