Ava's Story

Meet Ava!

Ava is a 2 YO sweetheart coming into rescue as an owner surrender due to a serious illness in her family. This has been an incredibly difficult and loving decision, and Ava has been exceptionally well cared for her entire life.

She’s a little peanut, weighing in at just about 40 lbs. She’s crate trained, housebroken, walks well on leash, and is wonderful in her home. Due to her shy nature, Ava absolutely needs a securely fenced yard, no exceptions. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but you’ll be sure to see her boxer wiggle in no time!

She loves other dogs and plays nicely with her pug siblings. She’s also fantastic with cats and has helped welcome many kitten fosters over the years. While she’s never lived with small children, she would do best with older kids in a quieter home, as busy environments can make her nervous.

Ava is a truly special girl, and we can’t wait to help her find a new home who will welcome her with open arms, and where she can become part of the family!

www.chboxerrescue.com/adopt

Available in the Northeast (NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, PA, DE, MD, NoVA)
