Meet Ava! ?? Mama Ava was found in an abandoned apartment in Baltimore City with her nine week old pups. Ava and family was assisted by law enforcement and taken to a local shelter where she was pulled by our rescue. Ava has finished her mom duties and is now ready to find her forever home (puppies go up for adoption soon! ?) Ava is a 2 yr old, spayed, Catahoula Leopard Dog Pittie mix who is as sweet as can be. Genesis Pit Bull Rescue's Adoption Policy

1. All adopters that apply are background checked. Adopters are matched by the criteria that best matches their dog, with preference given to people that do not work long hours and have a large fenced in yard. Dogs will not be adopted to anyone who has previously surrendered a dog. 2. Adopters meet their dog they’d like to adopt 3. Dogs go on a two week trial with new owners. This gives owners a chance to see what life with their new dog is really like. After two weeks if adopters are still interested they officially adopt their dog.
