Our Mission
We are a Pennsylvania based pit bull rescue providing new beginnings to dogs by rescuing, rehabbing, and placing them in adoptive homes. Genesis Pit Bull Rescue was founded with a mission to rescue and advocate for pit bulls in need. Our goal is to diminish the stereotype surrounding pit bull by placing them in loving homes with their forever families. We are committed to providing dogs a new beginning, and every success story is a step forward. Rescue and adoption efforts take the strength of a community, and we invite you to support our cause in any way you can!
Adoption Policy
1. All adopters that apply are background checked. Adopters are matched by the criteria that best matches their dog, with preference given to people that do not work long hours and have a large fenced in yard. Dogs will not be adopted to anyone who has previously surrendered a dog.
2. Adopters meet their dog they’d like to adopt
3. Dogs go on a two week trial with new owners. This gives owners a chance to see what life with their new dog is really like. After two weeks if adopters are still interested they officially adopt their dog.
