Either time on your hands for training and to help him settle in.

•What we know: Austin was bought from a breeder in Texas and delivered to his new home in California. As it turns out, his new owner was very allergic to him. The breeder would not take the dog back, so he was surrendered to rescue. Austin is currently in foster care and doing well. He does better with another dog. Shy at first. He will need help settling in and getting into a routine.

•Medical: healthy. He's been vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He will be neutered at 6 months old and will need to be adopted into our relative area.

•How to apply: Visit www.animalsrule.org and fill out our online application of interest.
