Meet Austin
Austin had a rocky start with us! He was found after being hit by a car stuck in a drainage ditch culvert. After finally being able to safely free him from the culvert he was rushed to our veterinarian who found him to be in a dire situation. His left leg was broken in 3 places and his right hip was completely out of the socket. He also had a fracture of his pelvis. We were able to find a specialist to piece this sweet boy back together and one of our directors took him home to allow him time to heal. Even with surgery, his chances were still 50/50 that he would walk again. Several surgeries and months later this boy is running and playing like nothing ever happened! Austin is one of the sweetest dogs I've met in a long time. He is great with people, kids and other dogs. He just wants to be loved and cuddled. Austin is up for anything and has hardly any limitations after his harrowing ordeal. Austin is scheduled to leave Texas and head to the PNW soon and hopes to have a family awaiting his arrival!
Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest (with stops in UT, ID, WA and OR). We have transports that leave Texas often. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 per dog. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heartworm test, health certificate, flea/tick monthly preventative and transport costs. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
