Aurora's Story

Aurora is 4 months old, she weighs 4 1/2lbs. (Mom weighs 7-8lbs so they will be small)<br/>She has been spayed, 3x vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and potty pad trained.<br/>All of these girls are on the skittish side, they came from a hoarding situation and were brought into rescue in December 2025.<br/>Aurora is very puppy so she will chew, bark, not house trained.<br/>She NEEDS another small dog to play with around or under 5yrs of age.<br/>NO LARGE breed dogs in the home, cats are ok.<br/><br/>We do require a home visit, completely fenced yard, made out of chain-link wood or metal and a vet referral.<br/><br/>If you were interested in adopting, please complete the application completely from our website.<br/>www.lowriderrescue.com/adopt<br/><br/>Fostered in Chickasha<br/>(You must pick up in Chickasha)<br/><br/>Adoption fee: $350

LowRider Dachshund Rescue's Adoption Policy
We try and make adopting a Dachshund as easy as possible while still assuring a safe and secure place for our fur-kids. We require that you fill out an adoption application and allow us to conduct a home visit, then we can match you up with the perfect LowRider! All of our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccination, microchipped, heart worm negative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application https://www.lowriderrescue.com/adopt Our adoption fees vary by how much vet care we have in our rescues. Adult dogs start at $250, puppies start at $350 and full breed dachshund puppies start at $650. All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed / neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative. Any and all puppies will be available for adoption after 12 weeks of age, they will have completed all puppy shots and have time to recover from the spay/neuter.
