Meet Aurora, the adorable momma of the fantastic seven puppies! Aurora has been an extraordinary mother, diligently caring for her little ones and greeting all strangers with open paws. Although she tends to be a bit jumpy and excited when meeting new people, Aurora has been working on these behaviors with our training team at the AAF. This loving momma is not shy about seeking attention for herself, occasionally pushing past her pups to be in the spotlight. Having likely faced the challenges of street life, Aurora can be vocal when encountering unknown animals. However, with the help of a patient and understanding family, she is sure to feel safe and comfortable in her new home. Aurora is an ideal companion for a family or someone without extensive dog experience. Starting Friday, 1/12, Aurora and her puppies will be available to meet potential adopters. To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
