Aurora's Story

Aurora is a 2-year-old pit bull who is a fantastic dog. She may be mixed with a Rottweiler, but without DNA testing it is hard to tell. Aurora is wonderful with people, great on a leash, and can learn to be around another dog with a slow introduction. She truly has to be the one to decide her friends. She is very well trained, has an electronic collar for off-leash playtime, and understands it well. Aurora is very active, loves to go for walks, and knows all her commands. Unfortunately, she cannot live with cats or other dogs. Her owner's life became complicated, and he was not able to keep her, which has been extremely difficult for him. Aurora is not doing well in the shelter environment, so if you can adopt or foster her, that would be very helpful for her mental state. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for HW and Lyme. Please call 802-892-5300 for more information or fill out the online application at www.riversideanimalrescue.org
