Auri

Auri is a 10 month old female Golden Retriever / Lab mix that came in as a notorious sock eater! She had swallowed a sock which caused a blockage and some emergency monitoring at the vet clinic. Because of her history, we are looking for older kids (and adults!) who can understand the importance of not leaving socks or undergarments laying around for a nosy young dog to get in her mouth! She will also swallow toys, magnets off the refrigerator, and will raid an unattended garbage can. Any of these items can lead to an emergency "foreign body" surgery so it will be much better for everyone to simply keep things picked up. She is well worth the extra effort as she is so sweet and playful and only wants her own family to love. Auri is a big girl and weighs 70 lbs.
