Say Hi to August! This girl is a mix of Doberman and German Shepherd dog. She came to us from a local home where the family was unable to care for them anymore. She does have some leash training however she has not learned to walk easy on leash - she is a puller! We are also aware that she does not do well with cats and other small critters which may also include small dogs (it's hard for her to differentiate we guess). For that reason, we are looking for a home that will monitor her whereabouts at all times and have a secure fence for her. She is good with people and did well at the vets office for her spay surgery. Miss August is about 20 pounds overweight so exercise is definitely needed for her which may also help with some of the attention focus on other critters. August is about 3 years old and is up to date on vaccinations, has been spayed and is micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is donation of choice as we have had a generous donor sponsor part of their fee; however we do have a suggested donation to help offset the rest of the costs of the surgery and vaccinations.
